Freelance choreographers and emerging artists interested in making new work will be allotted free studio and theater space at Dance Industry Performing Arts Center. This creative residency will last 4-6 days, give or take upon discussion. The artist will have as much as 6 hours a day under their discretion to utilize the space. In this time, residents will use the space in any way they wish to begin and/or further research on a creation of their own.  The residency may culminate in a showing of work-in-progress or finished work in an informal setting, or in a formal performance with full tech depending on the artists' preference. We also encourage discussion of the work following the showcase. The residency is by invitation, travel/lodging must be taken care of by artist(s).
